Linda Forrester

Linda has lived in the beautiful Whitsundays in North Queensland since 1988 with her husband Brian. Apart from enjoying the beautiful environment on the water, here they have worked in the surveying and education industries and raised two children. Linda loves to create, experiment and learn, and share her knowledge with others both young and old and regularly runs classes and workshops from her home studio.

Linda studied her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Curtin University. Inspiration for her artworks can come from a multitude of places and is not limited to realistic or common sources but can come from within or be founded on a concept or ideology.

Whilst Linda started in the 2 dimensional world of drawing and painting, her passion has been focussed recently on 3 dimensional mixed media artworks including textiles, ceramics, and mixed media.

Haley Vogel

Haley grew up in the stunning Whitsundays spending her weekends sailing, snorkelling, diving or building tree houses on their family property.

In 2010 Haley studied a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Teaching specialising in Visual Arts in Cooranbong NSW. Her studies included ceramics, weaving, painting and drawing and it is from here that she really learnt of her love for both textiles and clay.

She spent the next 4 years teaching Media Arts, Visual Arts & Marine Science in a Brisbane high school before returning home to the Whitsundays in 2020 with her husband Casey. From here she started working with her lovely mum and Creative Co-Lab was founded.

In 2021 she welcomed her first baby which slowed things down a bit! She has been teaching pottery classes on and off during 2021 & 2022.
