Linda Forrester

Linda has lived in the beautiful Whitsundays in North Queensland since 1988 with her husband Brian. Apart from enjoying the beautiful environment on the water, here they have worked in the surveying and education industries and raised two children. After a 16 year career in professional and academic administration, Linda felt it was time to follow her true passion on a full time basis. Linda loves to create, experiment and learn, and share her knowledge with others both young and old.

Linda studied her Bachelor of Fine Arts with Curtin University. Inspiration for her artworks can come from a multitude of places and is not limited to realistic or common sources but can come from within or be founded on a concept or ideology.

Whilst Linda started in the 2 dimensional world of drawing and painting, her passion has been focussed recently on 3 dimensional mixed media artworks including textiles, ceramics, and mixed media.
