Mould Making Workshop

Service Description

During this full day workshop you will learn to make a two part mould for ceramic slip casting from our special guest and mould making expert Charlie Atkin, a.k.a 'The Melbourne Mould Maker'. Charlie has kindly offered to come to us and offer this rare opportunity to learn advanced mould making skills, and offer us her industry knowledge, tips and tricks. What's included: - 6 hour workshop with Charlie Atkin learning how to make a two part mould - You get to keep your mould at the end of the workshop - All materials included - Small class size of only 6 people - Complimentary tea and coffee Please bring a small plate of food to share with your fellow classmates for lunch. We will be making a mould of a mug with a handle, however the skills you will learn can be translated to a large number of other shapes, sizes & designs. This workshop is aimed at intermediate to experienced potters with a good understanding of the properties of clay. Perfect for potters looking to make larger quantities of work, or be able to produce exact replicas of their designs. If you cancel after this time you will not be entitled to a refund.

Cancellation Policy

You are able to reschedule or cancel your bookings from your login page up to 24 hours before the start time of your class. Go to the 'Class Bookings' tab, click 'Login' in the top right corner, click on your profile and select 'My Bookings', select your class and choose to cancel or reschedule. All cancellations made after the 24 hour period, and no-shows to classes will not be refunded.
